| Farrell Flies To Another Kwinana Victory Posted Sunday, 15 March 2009 by Ken Brown |
| Ryan Farrell has celebrated his first appearance in the Monte Motorsport colours with a brilliant A Main victory at the Perth Motorplex. Although he has yet to sign for the Monte Motorsport team, Farrell was offered a car for the meeting by Luch Monte after his own team had problems in preparing a vehicle for the meeting. Monte headed Farrell and Shaun Bradford at the green – and a Monte one-two finish looked likely for most of the 25-lap event. On lap 9 Farrell powered under Monte for the lead in traffic. Several laps later Robert Watson Jr made contact with the Pits Bend fence and flipped his car. The #66 machine rolled right into the path of Monte, who could not avoid it. Later Jason Kendrick hit the fence and also inverted the #11 car. Farrell went on to score the win over Carl Dowling, Jamie Maiolo, David Priolo and Mark Wells.
