Return Of Travellers Makes For Interesting Face Off At Bunbury

A quality twenty car field has nominated for the Sprintcar Face off at the Coates Hire Bunbury Speedway this coming Saturday (January 30).

Boosting the lineup will be the return of drivers of the calibre of Kerry Madsen, Jason Kendrick and Carl Dowling - who have returned after contesting some of the major shows on the east coast.

Madsen has previously taken out two rounds of the AHG Sprintcar Series before he headed off on his interstate jaunt - as has the current series pointscore leader Jamie Maiolo.

Single winners this summer include David Priolo, Kris Coyle, Steven Ford, Ken Sartori and last start victor Todd Waddell.

Toss in competitors of the calibre of Ben Ellement, Shaun Bradford, Luch Monte, Mark Wells, David Ellement and Brad Maiolo - and you can see that it will be a very hard fought event around the Bunbury clayway.

The meeting will be round #11 of the 2009-10 AHG Sprintcar Series.

Also on the agenda will be the first appearance of the Wingless Sprints at Bunbury.

It all adds up to a not to be missed show this Saturday.
