The Performance Wholesale World Series Sprintcars competition is aiming to strike gold at the Kalgoorlie International Speedway on Wednesday night.

Round 13 takes place at the Goldfields arena for the midweek showdown - in what will be the twelfth appearance of the travelling extravanza in Kalgoorlie.

Then WSS moves on to its 2009-10 series finale at the Perth Motorplex on Friday and Saturday nights.
